Looking for some last Minute Recipes for your Fourth Party??? Here are some Yummy Ones!!

Wave Your Flag Cheesecake

Ingredients 1-1/2 cups  boiling water
2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
  Ice cubes
1 cup cold water
1 pkg.  (10.75 oz.) prepared pound cake, cut into 10 slices
1-1/3 cups blueberries, divided
2 pkg.  (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 tub  (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed  
Directions
Slice 1 cup strawberries; halve remaining strawberries. Set aside. Add boiling water to gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add ice to cold water to measure 2 cups. Add to gelatin; stir until ice is completely melted. Refrigerate 5 min. or until slightly thickened.

MEANWHILE, line bottom of 13x9-inch dish with cake. Add sliced strawberries and 1 cup blueberries to thickened gelatin; stir gently. Spoon over cake. Refrigerate 4 hours or until gelatin is firm.
BEAT cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with whisk until well blended. Stir in COOL WHIP; spread over gelatin. Arrange strawberry halves on cream cheese mixture to resemble stripes of flag. Add remaining blueberries for stars.
Makes 20 servings! 

Spicy Sausage Queso

Ingredients  
1 package (16 ounces)  Hot or Mild Ground Italian Sausage
1 jar (16 ounces) chunky salsa
2 pounds cubed processed cheese
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons crushed fennel seed Garlic toast
Directions
In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage until no longer pink; drain. Place cheese in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 6 minutes or until melted, stirring every 2 minutes. Stir in the salsa, seasonings and sausage. Microwave 2 minutes longer or until heated through. Serve with garlic toast.
*Note*
 Want it a "lil" more spicy??? Add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
 For less spicy use a mild salsa!
Stuffed Fiesta Burgers
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef 1 pkg.
(1-1/4 oz.)  Taco Seasoning(Maybe you picked up some Ortega from Target $0.19ea
 1/4 cup  Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
1/3 cup  Shredded Cheddar Cheese(Maybe picked up some from Kroger 1.99ea -coupon?)
4 hamburger buns, lightly toasted (every has them for about .99ea this week)
1/2 cup  Thick ‘N Chunky Medium Salsa
 *Optional*
1 avocado, cut into 8 slices (Kroger has them for about 1.79eaOrganic *expensive*)
Directions:Heat grill to medium heat
MIX meat and taco seasoning together, shape meat mixture into 8 thin patties. Mix cream cheese spread and Cheddar; spoon about 2 Tbsp. onto center of each of 4 patties. Top with remaining patties; pinch edges together to seal.
GRILL 5 to 8 minutes on each side or until burgers are done! (Internal temp of atleast 160F!)
Fill buns with burgers & salsa  *& avocados if you choose*
Creamy Veggie Dip   * yummy*
Ingredients
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup Sour Cream
1/3 cup  Mayo or Miracle Whip
1 tomato chopped6 cups chopped finely fresh vegetables. Carrots, broccoli,celery etc *if ya have it on hand*
2 Tbsp. dry vegetable soup mix
Directions MIX Ingredients until well!
Put tomatoes on top last!.
Refrigerate til ready to serve!
